Fine By Me

Summary: Chris owes Piper after making her go skiing.

Despite her protests, and reminding Chris that she’s not the most athletically inclined person, Piper agrees to go skiing. Well, she doesn’t really agree so much as gives in when Chris gives her that damn puppy-dog face she can’t say no to and promises not to laugh at her when, she says with a sigh, “I inevitably wipe out”.

“Piper,” Chris says with a laugh as she struggles into her ski boots. “We came to a ski lodge for spring break. What were you planning on doing?”

“Reading. Sitting in the hot tub. Cuddling by the fire with my really sweet boyfriend,” she says, scowling as she struggles with the buckles.

Chris kneels down, his fingers deftly pulling at and fixing her boots. “I like those last two. A lot. We can still do those.”

“We could skip skiing and get right to them,” Piper offers hopefully.

Chris grins, yanking her hat playfully over her eyes. “Not a chance.”

“It was worth a shot,” she grumbles.

The only positive thing about wiping out, repeatedly, and on the bunny hill, no less, is that she can tell Chris, “I told you so.”

She can tell that he’s struggling not to laugh as she takes her skis off and plops down into the snow, frowning at the kids who have been whizzing by her all day.

“I told you I wasn’t athletic,” she complains.

Chris smiles, holding his hand out and pulling her back up. “I know. But thank you for coming out with me.”

“You owe me,” Piper declares, wincing slightly as her muscles protest her every move.

“Oh yeah? And what do I owe you?” he asks as they start walking back to the lodge.

“A massage. Chocolates. Cuddle time while I read,” she suggests, grinning and elbowing his side lightly.

“I can do that.”

When they get back to their room, Piper gingerly takes off her snow gear.

“I’m sore in places I didn’t even know I had,” she calls out to Chris.

“Poor baby,” he teases her.

“I believe you’re mocking me, Mr. Powell,” Piper says, raising an eyebrow as he sets his boots by the door and tugs his coat off before wrapping his arms around her.

“Maybe a little bit,” he admits, his lips brushing over hers as he leans in.

“I really am sore,” she murmurs against his mouth.

“Well, there’s a nice big tub in the bathroom,” he suggests, giving her another slow kiss.

“Mmm. Big enough for two?”

Chris’ eyes crinkle as he grins. “Of course.”

He leads her into the bathroom, gently pulling her sweater over her head. Piper goes to unhook her bra, but Chris stops her. She looks at him questioningly, until he steps closer and teases his lips over her neck. He sucks lightly at the tender skin, then kisses across her shoulder, biting the spot he knows drives her crazy.

“Oh,” she breathes out.

She can feel him smile as he tilts her chin up, brushing his lips over her other shoulder. His arms band around her waist, walking her backwards until she bumps into the edge of the counter and he lifts her. Leaning back on her hands, Piper watches as Chris slowly unhooks her bra and pulls it off, then kisses down her bare chest.

She sucks in a breath as he swirls his tongue around her nipples, working them into hardened peaks. He gently tugs her forward to stand after a minute, reaching for the button on her jeans.

“Wait,” Piper sighs. “You too.”

Chris pulls his shirt over his head, groaning when Piper surges forward, her fingers and her lips trailing across his chest and stomach. He’s ticklish, and she giggles when she kisses along his ribs and he squirms. He grins at her, shaking his head, then undoes the button and zipper on her jeans and eases them down over her hips, kneeling to pull them over her feet.

His lips are feather light across her skin at first, her hands burying in his hair and her eyes closing as his kisses become more insistent against her inner thighs.

Chris eases her underwear down, then kisses a path from below her navel back up to her neck, making her shiver as his stubble scrapes against her.

“You feeling any better?” he asks, and when Piper slowly opens her eyes, he’s staring at her.

“Getting there,” she murmurs, reaching for his jeans and making quick work of getting them off.

“Damn, baby,” he swears as she palms him through his boxers.

She loops one of her arms around his neck, the other pushing his boxers down until he’s completely bare before her.

“No fair,” Chris says once he’s kicked them over his feet, and she glances up at him.

He smiles. “I’m naked and you’re not.”

“Huh. You’re right,” Piper teases him.

She yanks her underwear off unceremoniously, flushing at the raw desire that spreads across Chris’ face as his eyes trail over her. Even after three years together, he still looks at her like she’s the most beautiful person he’s ever seen. Of course, she still looks at him that way too.

“God, you’re gorgeous,” Chris murmurs, pulling her in close and kissing her hungrily.

“Damn,” he mutters suddenly, pulling away from her.

She’s about to ask him what’s wrong when she sees him turn the tap on to fill the tub and realizes they forgot all about it.

“Christopher,” she says disapprovingly, raising an eyebrow at him and trying not to smile. “You bribe me with this nice big tub, and then don’t even fill it?”

“You distracted me,” he laughs, coming back over and wrapping his arms around her again.

Piper peers over at the tub. “That’s going to take forever to fill.”

She shrieks as he suddenly lifts her up and sets her on the counter, the tile cool against her bare skin.

“Don’t you worry, baby,” he says in a low voice, winking at her in a way that makes her burst into laughter. “We’ll find a way to pass the time.”
