Author’s Note: A little fluffy (and maybe a bit smuffy) fic that I scribbled down this morning based on a request for a fic about Damien and Cami moving in together. I hope it makes you smile like I did.

Camille felt the dip in the mattress beside her before she felt the brush of his lips on her cheek. “Bye, Baby. I gotta go.” He whispered softly against her skin.
“Hmmmph …” Camille groaned as she stirred from sleep, stretching her neck as she glanced over to the clock on her nightside table. 5:47am. She shook her head, trying to rid herself of the last remnants of slumber before getting up. “No, I’ll get up now … walk you out.” She perched up on one elbow and yawned, then pushed herself the remainder of the way to standing.
Damien bent over to grab his jacket at the foot of the bed and slip his arms through the sleeves as Cami sidled up next to him. He cocked his head and she stood up on her tippy-toes to press a lazy kiss to his lips, an affectionate chuckle resonating deep in his chest. “You know, just because I have to get up to go home and get ready before work doesn’t mean you have to get up too. You should go back to sleep.” He scooped her hand in his own and brought it to his lips, placing a chaste kiss to her palm.
Camille giggled fondly, shaking her head in disagreement. “I know, but it’s not fair that you’re the only one who has to get up early. Besides, it never hurts me to be the first one in the office.” She gave him a reassuring smile as he led her by the hand towards the living room and dipped to pick up his shoes by the door. She nestled onto the arm of her couch as Damien plopped down on the cushions to put his shoes on, studying his expression before she spoke again. “You know, you wouldn’t have to wake up so early if you could just get ready here … like if you already lived here.” She spurted out her proposition before she could stop herself, taking a big breath at the end of her sentence as she waited nervously for his response.
Damien laughed softly under his breath as he moved to tie his second shoe. “But then we’d be fighting over the hot water every morning.” He slipped the last lace into a knot, then lifted his head to meet her hopeful gaze. Suddenly his expression shifted to one of surprise, his jaw opened slightly as he processed her statement again from a different perspective. “Wait, are you serious?” His eyes widened and he leaned forward in anticipation.
Camille nodded her head, watching him closely as she explained herself. “Well, yeah … I mean, I’ve been thinking about it more lately.” She observed his blank stare, trying not to freak out by his lack of emotional response. “You’ve stayed over pretty much every night for the past two months … haven’t you thought about it?”
Damien’s face softened at the worry in her eyes and he reached to grasp her hand in his own. “Of course I’ve thought about it, Cami … but like you said, it’s only been two months. I didn’t want to rush things and scare you off.”
“It’s been four years and two months, D … I think there’s little chance of rushing things at this point.” She gave him a knowing smile, eliciting a low chuckle and a smirk from her beau. “Besides, you should know after everything we’ve been through together, before during and after the whole Eros debacle … I don’t scare easily.”
With that confession Damien let out a full-on laugh, pulling her down off the armrest into his lap and wrapping his arms around her waist. “You have a point there, Miss Park. A very valid point.” She dipped her head to meet his lips, twining her fingers in his hair as she giggled happily against his mouth.
When they finally separated, Damien gave her an apologetic look and glanced at his watch. “Unfortunately I don’t live here yet and I need to go get dressed for work. Call you later?”
“You better.” Cami gave him a wink as she scooted back off his lap, allowing him to lead her to the door with him for a final farewell. As he opened the door to leave, she pulled him back and wrapped her arms around his neck, capturing him in a searing kiss. “No pressure, but …. promise me you’ll think about it?” She gave him a wistful smile.
“What’s there to think about?” He rubbed his thumb across her cheek, his eyes searching hers as the corners of his lips tugged upwards in a half-smile. “Although, you may need to stay at my place for a few nights to help me start packing?”
Camille’s face lit up in a wide grin, her eyes dancing joyfully. “Deal, Nazario … how about tonight?”

Camille felt the dip in the mattress beside her before she felt the brush of his lips on her cheek. “Mmmm …. good morning.” He whispered softly against her skin.
“Hmmmph …” She groaned as she stirred from sleep, stretching her neck as she glanced over to the clock on her nightside table. 5:51am. “D, it’s eaarrrrlllyyyy …” she whined, groggily rolling over to her other side to face him. “My whole body is sore from carrying boxes all day … don’t you want to enjoy your first morning of sleeping in?” Her voice came out in a low grumble, her eyelids flickering as she struggled to keep them open in the dark bedroom.
Damien slid his hand across the curve of her hip, rubbing soft little circles against her skin as his lips found their way to nibble on her neck. “After two months of waking up at this hour, my body is used to getting up now.” He left a trail a wet kisses along the crook of her neck, causing her dazed body to react without her mental consent. “I was hoping to put this time to good use, Cami … and celebrate our first morning in our own place.” His fingers tickled the flesh down her hip to her leg, cupping her thigh in his palm as she curled her leg around his waist gasped with pleasure.
Camille couldn’t fight the giggles she emitted as Damien rolled her onto her back and positioned himself between her legs, rubbing their bodies together in an unhurried and erratic pattern. “Fine, D, you’ve convinced me …” she whispered breathily, “but tomorrow we’re sleeping in.” She chuckled as she gave her consent, then she turned to capture his lips with hers and begin their early morning celebration.
