Light Me Up

Light Me Up

Disclaimer- Not mine.
Author’s Notes- This is a sequel to “One-on-One” and takes place during the rave. I still find the Captain super hot and couldn’t resist writing another fic about him (and I am already planning a third). This is for the terrible influences who have been encouraging my habit for writing smut about minor characters, you know who you are 🙂
Pairing- Everett/MC
Rating- NSFW
Summary- Everett and Prudence hook up during the rave.
Words- 1073

I glanced around the party, taking it all in. This was way cooler than anything I’d experienced in my brief time at Hartfeld. And more than that, it felt right, like this was where I belonged.

But not on the sidelines, just watching. I needed to be in the action. I was about to go find one of my friends when I felt a part of arms circle my waist, tugging me against a hard body. “Hey gorgeous, I was hoping you’d be here.” A low deep voice said in my ear.

I glanced around to see if anyone was watching before relaxing into Everett’s embrace. “Even though I’m a mere Freshman?”

“You’re not a mere anything, Winterbourne,” he told me, his hands resting familiarly on my hips, “And given all the talk I’ve heard about your daydream potion, I’m pretty sure you’ve cemented your reputation as the hottest Freshman at Pendergast.”

“Is that why you found me?” I teased, “trying to hit me up for some daydream potion?”

Everett spun me so I was facing him, his face hovering inches from mine. “It’s not your potions I’m interested in.” He pulled me even closer, so all I could feel was him. “Let’s go somewhere more private and I’ll show you what I want.”

I nodded wordlessly and he released my hips, grabbing my hand instead and tugging me into the forest, leaving the noise of the party behind us. As soon as we were alone, Everett pulled me towards him again, his lips crushing against mine.

It occurred to me that at a normal party, I probably would be able to taste his beer or whatever, but this was Pendergast, there were no kegs, only magic enhancement which didn’t leave the same after-taste.

“Damn, you look good tonight,” Everett told me when we finally broke for hair, his hands caressing my curves. “Though as spectacular as that dress is, all it does is make me think how much I want to take it off of you.”

His hands slid to my back as he spoke, teasing the zipper.

My skin burned from his touch and I pressed myself against him, feeling his erection through the sparkly fabric of my dress. “Is that so?”

One of the reasons I liked Everett was that it was easy. WIth Everett there were no questions or shadow monsters, it was all hot hook-ups and fun times. We wanted to get naked and make each other feel good, no questions asked.

“Hell, yeah,” he answered, but then groaned, “but this might not be the location for that.”

I was going to point out the number of times we had gotten naked in the Thief arena, but he had a point. I was still making my reputation at Pendergast, being caught buck naked at a party wasn’t really how I wanted to go about doing that.

“Luckily there is a lot we can do with our clothes on,” Everett whispered, his lips teasing my ear with light kisses. “Or at least mostly on.”

“Sounds intriguing,” I commented, rubbing myself up against him, enjoying the sounds he made. “What do you have in mind?”

Everett grabbed me by the waist and spun me around until I was pressed up against a tree. “This for starters,” he told me, kissing me hard. I kissed him back eagerly, my hands in his hair, grinding my hips against his, which had him tightening his hold on me pulling me even closer and kissing me like there was no tomorrow.

The short skirt of dress rode up my thighs as we continued to kiss, exposing me to the cold night air, but I didn’t care. I didn’t even feel it, not with the heat Everett and I were generating.

“How far do you want this to go?” Everett asked against my neck, lightly nipping at the sensitive skin and making me moan.

“I want you,” I told him, arching into him, “all of you.”

“What my Sun-att wants, she gets,” he said with a grin, his hand sliding between us to tug down my underwear, tossing them roughly aside, his fingers teasing my sensitive flesh. “Damn, you’re wet, I guess we should do something about that.”

“Please,” I practically begged, pressing my body into him. “Fuck me, Everett. Right now.”

He swore and pulled back long enough to roughly pull down his pants, one arm still pinning me to the tree, and then he was back, lifting me up and then slamming into me. The motion made me groan but in a good way. I wrapped my legs around him, eager for more.

It was fast and furious, both of us caught up in the rush of the night. The bark of the tree was rough against my back as Everett pounded into me and I knew there would be scratches, but I didn’t care. I arched into him, my hands digging into his shoulders, desperate for more. Our mouths meeting in a desperate tango as our bodies moved together.

The pleasure built and built until it exploded, I bit back a scream and instead moaned into Everett’s mouth, clinging to him as I came. He tightened his hold on me, pushing himself harder, his actions becoming more uneven and I knew he was close. One more hard push and he came with a groan.

He continued to hold me up, his forehead resting against mine as we both tried to catch our breath. Finally, he held me to my feet pulling back and running his hand through his hair.

“That was…” He trailed off as if he couldn’t find the words.

“Yeah, it really was.”  I agreed, searching for my underwear as he pulled his pants back on.  “We should get back before someone comes looking for us.”

“Yeah,” Everett agreed, his eyes still on me. “I guess we should.”

“You go first,” I told him, fixing my dress. “I’ll be there in a moment.”

He hesitated and then nodded. “Catch you later, gorgeous.”

I watched him go taking the moment to catch my breath, my body still pulsing with adrenaline. This was exactly what I had needed tonight, it was better than any potion. Yes, this really was a very good night, and I had a feeling the smile would be staying on my face for the rest of the evening.

And hopefully, there would be a repeat performance real soon.

  1. OMG yay!! I’ve been waiting for this one and holy shit on a stick that was hot. I love their easy-going relationship, how much chemistry they have. I enjoy this pairing so much!

    1. Thank you! I enjoy writing them. I figure that Prudence has so much going on that she needs some fun, no strings attached sex with a hot guy.

  2. Hooooootttttt!!!!! I actually love the casual, no-strings-attached relationship here … makes for fun for Prudence and fun for the reader 😉🔥💕

    1. Thank you! I think the no-strings relationship works for them. He represents the normal aside of her life (as much as the magical world can be normal) and she likes how uncomplicated it is.

    1. Thank you! As much as I loved the Beckett diamond scene, I would not have passed down a chance to be with a Everett instead, so I wrote what I would have loved to see.

  3. As long as you keep writing this pairing. I’ll be here. Lol, there’s something light and easy about these two, and it’s enjoyable (and hot) to read.

    1. Thank you! I am enjoying writing them becuase it is a fun dynamic, neither of them is looking for anything serious. Prudence has so much going on in her life and this is a nice change from all the crazy.
