Summary: The drama between Liam and Victoria keeps going on. It seems like someone doesn’t want them to be together. Will Liam find his luck? And will Victoria find hers?
Last day – Liam’s search
This time he could sleep a little better, he took his clothes and put them on and grab in his pocket. Panic is rising and his heart starts to beat uncontrollably.
Shit… Where is the bag?
He tried to find it. He looked in every pocket, in the suitcase, the floor. But it’s not there.
Oh no I lost it. How can I lose the bracelet for her. I have to find it.. But where? On the cove?
He ran down the stairs to the streets to get a cab fast. After a little while he arrived at the cove again. Running along the beach, nothing. Climbing up the cliff, looking around. Nothing. He ran his hands through his hair, try to calm himself down, but nothing is working. He lost the engagement present for Victoria.
Now some idiot has that bracelet and could give it to any women. I should’ve wrote ‘For the love of my life – Victoria Jennings’
Walking back to the cab, he sit in and told the cab driver his last stop.
This is ridiculous; first I lose her and now the present? It’s not fair.
The cab stops at the harbour. Here she went with him on that boat to see the Statue of Liberty. He realise that he can’t find her in this city, his dream ends now. So he decided to take one last trip to the Statue of Liberty where there shared their first kiss.
The kiss – he remembers how surprised he was, but how much he liked it and wanted to be here forever. It was love at first sight, but for a prince it can’t be like this. And now his life is never going to be good again. He will be a King with a Queen he doesn’t love. He won’t get any children, because he just wants a family with her. No one else. He sighed and walked over to the man standing in front of the tour boat.
“Good afternoon, do you want a trip to the Statue of Liberty?“ Liam nods and took the ticket to join the boat. It was full now, people were sitting with their families. Happy couples sitting there. At the sight of them Liam heart aches. He lost her. Forever.
Walking to an empty space he looked to the sea and holds the letter from her in his hands. He tried to find her, he can’t do more. Tonight he will return to Cordonia without her. He let the letter flew away…
Victoria at the same time
After eating breakfast and trying to get a new job she decided to leave New York forever. She can’t stay here and see all the memories of Liam and her. How is she supposed to forget him here, where she fell in love with him?
“Hey Victoria, how are you doing?” Daniel asked and sits next to her.
“I will leave New York. I will take one last trip later and then I’m leaving. I can’t find a job here, so maybe I can find my luck somewhere else.” She barely smiled and Daniel noticed that in front of him isn’t the Victoria who left New York months ago.
“Sure, I hope you get your smile back, if you ever need help, you have my number.“
“Thank you” she hugged him and said goodbye.
Afterwards she went downstairs and took a cab to the harbour and walking straight to the man in front of the boat.
“One ticket to please.“ The man gave her a ticket and she went on the boat.
After she entered the boat, it started to leave the port. She looked around. Happy families who have fun. A little kid running around, while her mum shouts that he should come back and sit down.
On the other side are some happy couples. She looked at them even if her heart aches and then she remembers the bracelet she found yesterday on the cove. Whoever lost it, is now very unhappy. She walked further to the end of the boat while she looked down to the box. She held it in her hands and looked to the sea when she noticed that someone let a letter flew away and at the sight of the man she took a step back and ran into a waiter who lost balance and fell.
“Oh gosh I’m sorry!” The waiter looked at her, but not even a little bit angry.
“No problem, Madam.“ After he left, her gaze turns back to him. Liam.
That’s when Liam saw her, looking at him with his box in her hands. He took steps towards her and stands in front of her looking her in the eyes. Tears streaming down his face while looking at her and he can see tears on her cheeks two.
With a very quiet and shaky voice he said: “I finally found you.”
He didn’t know what to do first but then he took her in his arms and holds her tight, putting his head on hers.
She couldn’t believe it. Liam. Here in New York – to find her? She cuddled on him, she missed this feeling. The feeling of being home.
She started crying. “I’m sorry.” But he held on her tight and kissed her on the head.
“Victoria?“ he took his arms away. “Where did you find that box?”
She looked confused to the box and then back to Liam. “At the cove, yesterday.. why?”
SHE WAS THERE? It has to be short after I was there. Oh gosh. Liam’s mind went crazy and he hoped that he doesn’t have a shocked face right now.
“That’s where I lost it..” He didn’t dare to look away. He wanted to see her look.
“Wait.. this is yours? You were there? So it was also you who was there in the club?“ Liam nods and is shocked.
They were passing each other the whole time, but always at the wrong time. Missed each other just some minutes.
“I was looking for you, and today I thought I won’t find you that’s why I wanted to say goodbye here. Here – where we shared our first kiss.”
Victoria looked up at him. Her heart makes a back flip. “I wanted to say goodbye too. I’m leaving New York… but what is that bracelet.. is..” She looks downs, suddenly very nervous. “was it for me?” Still not ably to look up at him.
She felt his hands cupping her face and forced her to look up to him. “Yes, because you belong to me, and I hope you’re leaving with me – back to Cordonia.” He looked her straight in the eyes.
But she is shaking her head. “I can’t.. you and D-” She couldn’t finish that sentence because she felt his lips crashing on hers.
Now she realises how much he really loves her, and she loses control about her own body. Kissing him back with all the love she has, putting her arms around his waist, pulling him closer.
“I missed you Vicky..“ He leaned his forehead on hers and looked at her. “Please, come back. Drake and I talked. I know that you kissed him. I was angry at first but I know that we love each other, and you care for him and didn’t know how much. So you were confused and kissed him. I am not angry on you. Not on Drake. You won’t destroy our friendship, Vicky. If that’s the reason why you left, then there is no need to worry. Please, baby come back to me.”
