- first roadtrip – drake and riley
- Riley had been exhausted from their unity tour – sucking up to nobles she couldn’t care less about took a toll on her.
- when Drake noticed how unhappy she was he convinced Liam to give them a couple days off…
- “Get over here, Brooks! I have a surprise for you”
- ”I can’t, Drake, I have too much work I need to get done today”
- eventually he convinces her to follow him
- he guides her outside to where his old motorcycle is
- “Surprise!”
- ”a… motorcycle?”
- “Yep, now lets get outta here.”
- he takes her for a quiet drive on the Cordonian coast
- at first she just kept saying how they need to get back
- but after she accepts they’re not going back anytime soon
- she gets really into it
- “THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!! WOOHOO!!! GO FASTER DRAKE!!”
- after a while
- Drake can finally see the Riley he fell in love with
- when it starts to get dark they look for a motel
- by the time they find one
- Riley had fallen asleep on him
- he carries her to their room and tucks her in
- as he goes to turn of the light
- Riley grabs his hand still half-asleep
- “Drake…”
- “What is it?”
- “Thank you for doing this for me”
- “Anything for you, Brooks.”
- He turns out the light and goes to bed
- wrapping her up in his arms he falls asleep almost instantly
- and they felt more like theirselves then they have in a long time…
