Parker lays with his hands behind his head, his shirt discarded and long forgotten about after he and Calum jumped into the freezing water of a hidden away waterfall. The sun shines down on his skin, warming him from the inside out as he lets out a gentle sigh of relief, his fingers brushing through the ends of his hair. Parker never felt so relaxed and at peace in his entire life, everything with the lake monster finally being resolved he finally could breathe again knowing the people he loved and the public were safe, from a supernatural force at least.
Breathing in the fresh mid-afternoon air, he ran his fingers through the grass. Childlike freedom filling his chest with a shot of adrenaline running through him, he felt he could climb all the way to the top of Mountain Kilimanjaro, or at least to the cafe to buy a sandwich his stomach suggested with a growl, he knew Calum would enjoy a snack. He moves to sit up when the feeling of another person pushes him back down sitting on his lap, his hands placed on either side of Parker’s head shielding his eyes from the sun.
“Boo.” Calum grins, leaning down to kiss the tip of Parker’s nose. “Where do you think you’re going?” Beads of water run down Calum’s chest, shining in the sunlight pouring down on them, droplets dropping onto Parker’s own body with a refreshing coolness.
“I thought maybe you’d like a sandwich.” Parker smiles, his eyes taking in Calum in his entirety. He felt a jolt of electricity hit his heart, every time he saw him.. It felt like the first time all over again. “You’re beautiful.”
Calum blushes, laughing to brush off his comment as he leans down again. “And so are you.” He presses a kiss to Parker’s lips, enjoying the warmth of Parker against him, after the coldness of the water. He breaks the kiss with a sigh of content smiling down at his lover, his eyes scanning of his sculpted jawline to the dip of his cheeks when he smiled. “Don’t leave. Let’s stay here all day, just you and I.”
“You know I’d love to…” Parker smiles, glancing at the watch on his wrist.
“Please don’t tell me you have to go back to work.” Calum pouts sitting back as he rests his hands on Parker’s broad chest, his hands moving over the skin of Parker’s chest massaging into his body. “I miss you… I feel like we never get to see each other anymore.”
“Babe..” Parker moves to rest his hand on Calum’s cheek, and despite his reluctance, he leans into his boyfriend’s touch, moving to place his hand on top of Parker’ encasing it with his own. “I wouldn’t leave you if I didn’t have to. Just with Abe gone…I.. Have to pick up the slack. Fix what he broke.”
Calum smiles sadly at Parker, “Did anyone ever tell you, you were a too kind officer?”
“I think you do every day.” He grins, “Calum, I promise you, things will slow down and I will be there for you more, even Elliot if he still needs help with History.” Parker brushes his thumb back and forth against the soft skin of Calum’s cheek, who can’t help himself failing to suppress his grin. He leans forward kissing Calum softly for a few moments before pulling back admiring his boyfriend’s features.
“I know you feel like you have to fix everything that Abe did, but that’s not on you, honey.” Calum nuzzles Parker’s hand comfortingly. Giving his boyfriend’s hand a generous squeeze of affections before turning his attention back to him. “You are not liable for anything that happened because of him. You trusted him, you loved him, you did nothing wrong. You believed in the person who helped you out in a bad time…” He pauses for a second, “Remember what you told Imogen?”
“Not really… that whole night was a blur.” Parker admits with a shrug. “All I remember is seeing you alive with Elliot and my entire world stopped crumbling around me. I didn’t think you’d come back to me..I couldn’t stand losing you..”
“Hey..” Calum whispers softly, bringing Parker’s hand to his chest, resting it against his head placing his own onto Parker’s. “Were here, were alive, and that’s all that matters. You were a real hero that night, you helped Imogen carry her mom to safety. ‘Imogen, let me help you. She died loving you despite everything, her actions will never define you, but yours will.’ And she hugged you and then you scooped her mother into your arms and went to go do your cop thing.”
Parker’s eyes soften, as Calum caress the tips of each of his fingers with his lips. Moving to kiss each of the knuckles on his hand until he reaches the back of his hand holding it against his lips for a few comforting moments. “I love you a lot.” Parker whispers, “Thank you.”
Calum nods in response moving his hand from Parker’s chest to rest on top of Parker’s hand, encasing them in his two. “I love you so much more. It’s crazy how much I love you.” Parker grins in response, shaking his head with a smile. “Elliot definitely still needs help in History so you better stop being busy soon.” Parker laughs with a smile.
“For Elliot, anything.”
“Oh for him?” Calum teases, getting an eye roll from the smiling police officer. “Do you still want to get sandwiches?”
“I still have some time before I have to get back anyways. Anything you want to do, name it and we’ll do it. Sandwiches or not.” Calum perks up with a smile before dipping down low to kiss his boyfriend on the lips, savoring the taste of Parker as Parker’s hand land on his waist holding him close to him. Calum tips his head to the side deepening the kiss, as his hands brush through Parker’s hair, a hunger inside of him causing him to deepen his actions, letting himself fully engage into him.
Parker breaks the kiss, with a pant. “Calum…I…” A sudden embarrassment brushing over his cheeks, as feels himself swell in swim shorts knowing that Calum can feel it. He looks down softly, moving to rest a hand on Calum’s thigh. “I want you so bad right now, but..” His eyes darting around to subtly point out they’re in public.
“Sorry.” Calum laughs nervously, “I just-”
“No, it’s okay. I mean-” Parker interrupts.
“Should I-” Calum questions, starting to move to get up from Parker, brushing against him in the process. Parker instantly grabs him pulling him back down before he can go far, allowing him to reposition himself on top of him more comfortably.
“No.” Parker shakes his head, his eyes burning with desire. “Please.. Don’t stop. I changed my mind. I want you right now.” Calum grins in response, slipping his hand under the hem of Parker’s shorts, his fingers brushing against the tip of his forming hard-on. Parker groans, his head rolling backwards his hips moving upwards to meet the gentle movement of Calum’s hand. “Oh my god..”
“Parker-” Calum goes, only to be caught off guard by a crackle of static, instantly pulling his hand out of Parker’s pants his eyes widening as he looks around the area when the static finally stops and a voice comes through.
“Shaw, Repeat, Captain Shaw. You’re needed at the station.”
The pair looks at each other, as Calum’s hand pushes against the bulge forming in Parker’s pants, his palm traveling the length of his firmness causing Parker to moan loudly, his body shivering with anticipation.
“God those eyes..” Parker sighs shaking his head, at the pleading look on Calum’s face. “How can I say no when it feels so good and you give me that damn look. And when you feel so good.” Parker smiles before moving to push Calum onto his back, pulling both of Calum’s legs around his waist letting himself push against Calum’s smaller frame.
“Damn.” Calum bites his lower lip, “If you don’t ignore that call, turn off the radio or something, you’re going to be the one needing a fucking police officer.” Calum groans, his body burning with desire at the simple touch of Parker against him. Grabbing at Parker’s bare shoulders with his hands, his head falling backwards arching his back into Parker’s warm embrace.
“I’m just getting started, babe.” Parker grins leaning down to pull Calum into a heated kiss, his mouth searing with a burning itch for one another, as he continues to grind himself against Calum’s body. “We’re not leaving until-”
“Shaw!”
Parker groans, untangling himself from Calum who rolls his eyes leaning his head back. “I’ll be there in a few hours, I’m dealing with a different emergency. Shaw out.” He clicks off the radio before hearing a replay tossing it into the back of his truck without a second thought before returning back to Calum on the ground still. “Now, where were we?”
“Captain Shaw, I believe the emergency is right here.” Their lips crashing together as the entire world fades away around them with the soft singsongy cheerful chirping sound of birds filling the sky around them, concealing their moans with their sweet music.
