An obviously expensive, perfectly lacquered 20s car parked by the side of the road. Adam stepped out and closed the driver’s door before walking around the vehicle and opening the passenger door. Priya stepped out and straightened her pastel pink dress.
As soon as Adam had closed her door as well, and locked the car, placing himself next to her and an arm around her waist, Priya asked, “Promise this won’t take long?”
“Promise,” he answered with a kind smile, apparently very rarely in a bad mood. “It’s just some business talk.”
Together, they walked towards a rather big building.
“And… Kamilah does finance?” Priya asked, an eyebrow raised.
“Yes,” Adam just confirmed. “That is right.”
“Seriously, I hate numbers,” Priya told him. “Except when it’s about money.”
He responded with a chuckle. “You’re an artistic soul, doll, a free spirit.”
“I guess?” she answered, not fully sure what exactly that meant, and suddenly wondering if her boyfriend had just called her stupid, being sneaky about it and thinking she wouldn’t figure it out.
Before she could invest more thoughts into that question, though (the answer was no), the couple entered the building. Adam’s posture beamed with a mixture of confidence and professionalism, as he walked straight to Kamilah’s office, where the door was opened, and she turned out to be already waiting.
“Hello, Kamilah,” Adam greeted with a smile as warm as always. “It’s a real pleasure to see you!”
Kamilah didn’t leave the seat behind her desk, acknowledging his words with a nod, special attention focused on Priya. “Good evening, Adam. I see you’ve brought… your companion, once again.”
“Hiya,” Priya greeted as both her and Adam took a seat on the two chairs in front of the desk.
“Well, yes,” Adam responded, still smiling, “Priya here agreed to accompany me.”
An eyebrow raised, Kamilah asked, the tone of her voice not expressing any curiosity, “Is that why you’re late?”
“Ah, apologies!” he answered smoothly. “Priya needed an extra minute with her makeup.”
“Interesting,” Kamilah just said, eyes focused on Priya. Something about her was judging the young vampire. Then, she turned to her actual guest. “So, about the de-”
“Butt me, Adam?”
Kamilah’s eyes widened slightly as she looked back at Priya. “Not in here, please.”
Adam turned to his girlfriend and calmly told her, “Outside, doll.”
Priya made an annoyed sound, rolling her eyes dramatically as she crossed one leg over the other. This meeting was no fun.
Kamilah continued, repeating, “So, about the-”
She was interrupted once again. This time, by a phone that was ringing from somewhere nearby.
Her eyes widened again, and she raised an eyebrow, yet not at all close to losing her calm. Kamilah turned to Adam and told him, “Excuse me, I have to answer that call. It won’t take longer than a moment.”
“But of course!” he answered with a friendly smile. “Please, take all the time you need.”
So, the oldest vampire stood up, approached the door and left the room. Priya turned around to catch a last look of Kamilah’s butt before the door closed her out.
The young vampire faced her boyfriend with a smirk and told him, “She is hot. Just stiff.”
He grinned, confessing, “Not as hot as you.”
Priya felt especially flirty as she moved her chair closer to his, so that they were sitting directly next to each other. In a voice filled with confidence, she said, “You bet!”
Then, she grabbed his hand, placed it on her belly and moved it downwards…
Adam grinned, not stopping her. It was when his hand was under her dress that his happy expression faded, replaced by a surprised look on his usually so calm face.
Priya smirked right at him. “Undies are for mortals.”
As he didn’t move his hand, not even his eyes, she leaned in for a kiss, pulling him close.
Finally, Adam moved his hand, slowly, carefully…
Immediately, Priya took action herself. Without even the tiniest hint of gentleness, she put her hand inside his pants, reaching directly for what she wanted…
They spent a short moment kissing and touching. It were just a few seconds, but the timing was horrible. In the blink of an eye, Kamilah stood in the door!
She faced the couple, her expression lacking any sort of emotion.
Just then, Adam saw her, gasping quietly as his eyes widened in shock!
Priya turned around as well, but her expression was the opposite of his. In fact, she looked as if she found the situation rather funny.
“I trust you can see yourselves out,” Kamilah merely said.
Adam got up in a hurry, failing to hide the redness of his cheeks. He left without saying goodbye, too embarrassed to even look Kamilah in the eye.
“Bye, doll,” Priya said to Kamilah in a surprisingly good mood before leaving her alone in her office.
The young vampire had to hurry to catch up to her boyfriend, who was leaving a lot faster than he had arrived. Having finally caught up, Priya asked, looking at his face, highly entertained, “Are you blushing?” Obviously, he was.
“This was so embarrassing,” Adam merely said, lacking the words to express his feelings in a more detailed way.
“I liked it,” she answered with a smirk. “At least this way we didn’t have to listen to her boring finance gab.”
Kamilah stood by the window, looking outside with a cold expression. She could see Adam and Priya, how they made their way inside his car. Once seated, she witnessed how their lips connected steamily, his hat falling off, before their heads disappeared under the rear window. Kamilah knew that, so soon, the car wouldn’t be leaving.
She sighed, before mumbling to herself, “Young love… untamed and wild.” That’s what she was missing.
